2020年仪器信息网联合美国华人质谱学会（CASMS），同时在中国物理学会质谱分会（中国质谱学会）的大力支持下，于12月7-11日联合举办第十一届质谱网络会议（iCMS 2020）。CASMS专场会议时间为2020/12/10 9:00-12:00（北京时间），共邀请到杨森制药公司(美国强生)药物代谢动力部门资深主任科学家蹇文婴博士, 美国百时美施贵宝公司研究与开发平台负责人寿臻宇博士, 美国北卡罗来纳大学格林斯伯勒分校Qibin Zhang副教授, 美国明尼苏达大学Yue Chen副教授，美国亚利桑那州立大学Haiwei Gu助理教授，美国加利福尼亚大学尔湾分校Lan Huang教授六位专家分享质谱研究成果。

Dr. Lingjun Li (on the left), Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor of Pharmaceutical Science and Chemistry at University of Wisconsin-Madison and Dr. Ying Ge (on the right), Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison were selected to be on the 2019 Analytical Scientist’s Power List. The Power List showcases the tremendous range of talent, ingenuity and leadership present across all corners of analytical science on a global scale, by highlighting the pioneering work and passion of 100 leaders in the field. The full Power List 2019 can be found online.
2020年1月10日，普渡大学R. Graham Cooks教授在人民大会堂被授予中华人民共和国国际科学技术合作奖。Cooks教授在分析化学领域学术斐然，对串联质谱、原位电离、质谱小型化等技术的发展做出了卓越贡献，发表文章1100余篇，h-index过百，现为美国国家科学院院士、美国艺术与科学院院士及美国国家发明家学院院士。自上世纪70年代末开始，Cooks教授与中国学者合作已40 年。Cooks教授培养的138位博士生和78位博士后中，有49位来自中国（33位博士，16位博士后），接纳过上百位来自中国的访问学者，他们中多人现在国内高校和研究院所从事科研工作。Cooks教授与中国分析化学界，及清华大学、中国计量科学院等单位有着长期深入的合作。近年来，通过与清华大学、清谱科技、清华启迪和上海分析技术产业研究院（上海松江）的合作，Cooks教授积极推动了技术与产业创新的国际合作。
CASMS President Liang Li Inducted into the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) on November 22, 2019. Our own president Liang Li, a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Alberta, was inducted into the RSC class of 2019. RSC is the oldest (since 1882) and most prestigious scholarly institute in Canada. New fellows are elected by their peers for their outstanding scholarly, scientific and artistic achievement. Professor Li was recognized for his contributions to the development of analytical mass spectrometry.
Dr. Ying Ge, Professor at University of Wisconsin at Madison received the 2020 Biemann Medal from the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.
Dr. Yingming Zhao (赵英明教授)’s group published a paper in Nature entitled “Metabolic Regulation of Gene Expression by Histone Lactylation”. Dr. Zhao is Professor of Ben May Department of Cancer Research at the University of Chicago. He also serves as Committee on Cancer Biology, Committee on Genetics, Genomics and Systems Biology, and Committee on Molecular Metabolism and Nutrition. Professor Lingjun Li’s group published two papers in Nature Communications, “Molecular basis for chirality-regulated Aβ self-assembly and receptor recognition revealed by ion mobility-mass spectrometry” and “Nanosecond photochemically promoted click chemistry for enhanced neuropeptide visualization and rapid protein labeling”. Dr. Lingjun Li is Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry and Charles Melbourne Johnson Distinguished Chair in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Li research group (LRG) has been focusing on the development and application of an array of novel mass spectrometry (MS)-based tools and strategies, to study challenging neuroscience and biomedical problems.
