Research Assistant Professor

The SKLEBA invites applications for Research Assistant Professor in Mass Spectrometry and related areas. The appointees are expected to establish his/her own research team and conduct independent research. PhD degree and in Analytical Chemistry and post-doc experience in Bio-mass Spectrometry is required. Experience with metabolomics, environment toxicology, or human disease/health is preferred.

 

The SKL and HKBU will provide start-up fund for the successful applicant. The SKL has the best mass spectrometry facility in Hong Kong, including two new Orbitrap MS and Bruker Rapiflex MALDI-Imaging, as well as cell and animal rooms. 

 

Salary ranges from HK$35,000-45,000/month or US$54,000-70,000/year (plus 15% gratuity subject to completing contract), depending on experience. Appointment will be made on contract basis for three years initially. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to review and mutual agreement.
